How heavy is TOO heavy? GVWR on a 2500
Alright guys I'd like your input on something I can't stop arguing both ways. Current rig is a lower mileage 2005 2500HD Duramax cew cab, motor has been gone through and added ARP studs, all new belts...

Well everyone after much deliberation I decided rather than rolling the proverbial dice I would take this as a sign its time to retire the 05' from service and pick up something more suited and capable.
Here she is, a 2013 Ram 3500 Laramie Mega Cab Dually with the Aisin trans and 4:10 gearing, GVWR of 14,000lbs (can't go one pound heavier without becoming a medium duty commercial vehicle). I'm sure its capable of safely grossing out substantially heavier. Factory tow rating of 30,000lbs. This one has quite a few bells and whistles and even 22" wheels with a leveling kit. All aftermarket parts were installed prior to being sold new and it was a 'showroom' truck till December 2014, so in all reality its 2 years old. I picked up an 8 year/125k mile bumper to bumper warranty through Mopar as well. So this thing will hopefully provide me with years of heavy hauling pleasure!
