Just checking out some campsites online. Almost every one says that the pad length is 25', and the width is 15'. Yikes....does this mean that if our camper opens up to greater than 25' (they all do), that we can't be in this site? And, the width of 15' doesn't accommodate an 8' wide trailer plus an 8' long awning! But, I KNOW that every size trailer ends up in these electrical sites. Am I getting something wrong here?
the 25' length is misleading, especially when it comes to hybrids.
the front bunk on a hybrid, goes no further than the ball coupler on the tongue. so it doesn't affect the length clearance on the front.
and since you'll back in, the rear bunk can hang out over the end of the pad, usually by backing up until the trailer's bumper is right over the concrete bumpers at the end of the pad.
we've fit our 24'6" 23SS in the typical 25' pads easily all the time, with room in front of the trailer's tongue, to park the truck across the pad.
