Re reading your posts....am I understanding that you want to stay at about 23' BUMPER TO BALL? If so, then you need to be looking much smaller than even a 21'. Believe the hitch is going to add about 4' to whatever the box is, so you'd be looking more in the 18' - 19' range. Am I understanding you correctly?
If that is the case, you likely won't be having a slide. If your storage/tow vehicle/budget allow for it, strongly suggest you stretch to the 21' or 23' with a slide. It will add weight, so double check the specs on your Suburban. The benefits of a slide more than outweigh the extra pounds and extra dollars and will be a huge benefit if/when you trade or sell it. Not to mention that the general comfort is much improved over one without. Sorry, just more "stuff" to think through.
