At first glance the asking price in Cdn $ seems reasonable, especially if it includes weight distribution / sway control ... if not I'd negotiate down as buying your own will run you $500 to $1000. I'd also want to know the brakes & bearings were done within the last year but if not you'd want to deduct several hundred for that as well. Assuming this trailer is wearing it's original tires it would be due for a new set which could easily set you back another $1000 on top of everything else. The devil is in the details and if you aren't careful you could get caught having to ante up several thousand $$$$ more to bring any used trailer to where it can be used safely.
