I've got a 2002 1500HD with the 6.0 gasser with 207k miles on it. I bought it new to get a crewcab when we found out we were having another child. He turns 16 in 18 months, and he will get the truck, and I'll find me a 2-4 year old truck.
We just passed my wife's Honda Pilot down to my daughter that turned 16 this year, and it had 245k miles on it.
So I'm guessing we change cars about every 250k miles :)
With the price of cars and trucks now, and as well built as most of them are, I can't see trading cars all the time. The only advantage my wife's new car has over the old one is a little better gas mileage, and I do really like the Apple Car Play to integrate the phone with the car. It's really nice.
