How long do you plan to keep your TV

most posters that say they keep their TV's 10+ years or 250000 miles seem to be far and away from the rust belt or Canada in general - around here we live in an environment that just kills cars, I have mine Rust Checked every year which makes a decent difference in keeping them serviceable as far as the running gear goes but I only end up keeping them 4-5 years and 110-130k KM's.

I look at 7-10 year old vehicles here and they look like swiss cheese for the most part!
