Oh yeah..rust from road salts...understand that. Hose mine down after getting home from skiing and did make up an underbelly spray system for in-laws who lived in Boise...worked well...when they used it...
Just back from the muffler shop for my 21 year old Sub and noticed some rust that have been missed during oil changes...


Replaced the OEM with a MagnaFlow dual in...dual out with a common center chamber years ago...really didn't like it as much, as lost a bit off idle...one would think with dual CATs that opening it up more would...it did but only above 2,800 RPMs
Was getting too loud..even this Boy Racer didn't like it anymore...
Back to a dual OEM down from the heads, each with a CAT into the muffler with asingle 2.5" and a 3" dia SS tip out to the rear. Back to sleeper mode...but the old big block is a bit down on compression 'cuz of VERY HARD driving/towing/etc at +164K miles
