Apparently yourself included. :W
Yes, I've had my TRC surge guard for 12 year's. Funny thing, never had to worry about a warranty cause it hasn't failed. :)
As have I ... purchased an original version TRC 34370 Surge Guard from an elderly RVr who had already used it for years to protect his Airstream's electrical system. He retired from the sport due to age so I bought it from him for substantially less than a new one and used it myself for another year, no issues at all, and on several occasions it did shut down faulty campground power. The idea of using a device like this to do what I can to protect my trailer's electrical system became such a no brainer that I decided to upgrade to a hardwire Progressive Industries EMS-HW30C for the additional features it offers. I sold the TRC to a friend who continues to use it to protect his own trailer ... the point being that if you're LUCKY any one of these EMS / surge protectors can last for years. However, that doesn't in any way change the fact that these products should be considered to be sacrifial if need be. Anecdotal testimonials either way are irrelevant as it's not the quality of any of these units (or more accurately, lack thereof) that's in question but rather that those of us who haven't yet suffered a total failure have simply been LUCKY. The question that therefore should be asked when purchasing is not whether it's a "quality" unit but what to do about it when it does fail, whether a year or ten years from now - a question I've answered for myself by purchasing a Progressive model that offers a lifetime warranty which guarantees I'll be able to get replacement parts in the future and by purchasing a hard wire version which I can field repair myself, unlike the portable versions which are sealed and must be returned to the manufacturer for repair.
