Depends on what I am doing.
If it's just an overnight, just the time it takes to climb from driver's seat into bed.
OTOH, on rough ground in the dark I have spent 45 minutes WITH A PARTNER getting the van semi-level before I get out of the seat ;).
If I am getting out the ice machine, about 30 minutes. Part of why I am changing to a bigger van is to make that easier. Right now, stuff has to ride on top of the machine, and be moved. That is a hassle. I hope to have it down to 10 or 15.
If I am staying for weeks or months, I will probably get some sleep and then do some more rearranging and prettying-up tomorrow. Set up outdoor kitchen, etc.
Packing up to leave seems to take longer, more like 45. And if I have been in one place for several months it takes a week, at least. Wash all the laundry, wash the van, shop and prep food...
@toedtoes: I have those shoe bags, too! EVERYTHING is in there!
