After 11 year I think I may have worn out my pop-up camper. In one season I managed to snap the sink faucet and drive out of a wheel bearing. Both of which I will repair this spring.
Recently I purchased a TT and I wonder, with proper maintenance, if I will get 11 years out of it?
To hear some on this board complain, you would think that all new TTs are being built by illiterate monkeys from spit and baby yarn. :W
So the question is, given its proper maintenance, how long do you expect your TT to last?
I get a new one every 10 years. I choose this interval because there are small improvements made with each model year. At about 10 years, there is a big enough improvement to make it worth getting a new one.
Plus after 10 years of use, some of the old TTs components are nearing the end of their life. Yet the unit still has some value when sold. YMMV
