Just remember. The crooks KNOW where the good hiding places are as well. If you think there is place in your RV that no one else has ever found. Think again.
Hide it in the glove box? Most don't lock anymore, and a hammer will open any vehicle.
And in truth. they aren't really interested in stealing the whole RV.
Safes provide just enough deterrent. Crooks don't want to hang out long, and most don't carry a crowbar, or hacksaw. They are looking for something they can grab in a hurry. So stuff laying in a cubby hole, can be gone in a flash. Stuff locked in a safe, bolted to the floor. Just takes too much time to steal.
