I just bought a 2008 Ford F-250 with 200,000 on the clock. The owner maintained it to a "t". It looks new. I had no qualms about the mileage, a properly maintained diesel truck will run practically forever if you keep the maintenance up on it. So, some people will say "stay away from a 6.0 or a 6.4 Ford". I had a 6.0 Ford, did the needed fixes on it and would still be driving it today if it hadn't been sideswiped on a mountain road and totaled. And as for the 6.4 I bought, with 200,000 miles and a full service history, I feel that is enough to feel confident I have a keeper.
