My 2010 coleman hybrid says it good for 1000 lbs. back when I had a tent trailer and had some issues I made some large pvc poles with flange ends that I just places under the tent end just in case. They sometimes (depending on the surface of the ground would sometimes not be perfect but close enough that if the trailer tipped a bit it would stop it.
