How many TC's is too many TC's? Answer inside.
THREE! Three TC's is too many.

We've had our Lance for 13 years and were ready to upgrade to something new with electric jacks, A/C, etc. As much as we loved our Lance, we didn't think it was worth the investment to add all of those features to it. Additionally, we wanted a N/S bed and a slide for more room. We looked around and decided that what we wanted was an Arctic Fox 1150 with a wet bath. We looked for over a year and every AF we found was either a dry bath, had major problems, or was too expensive.
We came across a good deal on a 2001 10.5' Real-Lite by Forest River that was incredibly well built and beautiful inside. It didn't have a generator or electric jack, but it was pre-wired for everything and I knew that we could add everything we wanted and still be under $10k, which was my budget. We took it camping and realized that it wasn't for us. The shorter length led to less cabinet space and it somehow felt narrower even though I measured and everything was the same. We decided that we were going to sell the new camper and keep the Lance until we could find the AF1150 we longed for. It is tough because the Real-Lite is probably the nicest thing I've ever owned. It feels first class all the way inside.
Saturday I was surfing Craigslist and there it was! A 2000 AF1150, original owner, always stored inside, with all of the options, and priced right at $10K. We went and looked at it and brought it home yesterday!

Thank heavens I live in a neighborhood where this kind of thing doesn't get me nasty letters from neighbors. They laugh and say I'm crazy (I think bringing them beer helps ;)). I have talked to them and let them know that we are opening Forest's Used RV Emporium and selling our excess inventory.
