How minimal of clearance is okay between cab and cabover?
Just switched from a dodge to a ford. I had about 2" of clearance. On the ford, there is about 1/2" to an inch. Is that a problem? I think it would help with aerodynamics.

You are welcome popeyemth, it should work out good for you. Ideally, running the 2x6 front to rear as you have them, you want one under the TC walk area. I also think you should use a screw or something to prevent the 2x6 from walking out from under the TC, to the outside. It takes very little to hold it. One screw in the front and rear should be plenty.
