How much can I tow?
2006 ram 2500 mega 4x4 cummins 5 ft bed. The reason I ask is the previous owner added leaf springs in the rear end. There is zero dip in her rear end and it rides unbelievably comfortable.

So in addition to my original question. What can I tow before the addition and what can it tow now give or take and understanding the axle concern.
Are you sure they are not overload springs? HD pickups have an extra spring pack that cars and light duty trucks do not have.
Either way, what is listed in the driver's door jam is what the truck is rated for. No credit for modifications.
