You need to understand that the advertised TC weight of 2100 lbs is the stripped model with no options. Realistically, you will see 500 lbs in options and 500-1000 lbs in tie downs, gear, people and fluids. This puts 3000-3500 lbs on your rear axle before you even hitch up your boat (almost none of that weight goes to the front axle and sometimes front axle weight is shifted to the rear). Now look at your tire and rim capacities and see how close you are with 7000-7500 lbs on the rear axle. There is a reason I have been suggesting commercial grade grade wheels over bling - You are actually using your truck at its full capacity.
Proper suspension will be progressive or will have disconnects (like the lower StableLoads) to give you a compliant ride when unloaded. You cannot expect a cushy ride if you plan to carry a heavy load, but the ride does not have to be punishing when unloaded.
