On our FL trip last year it was one of those "unseasonably cold" times. Driving 3 days down, we had the furnace in our HTT on every evening and overnight. In FL for a week and had to use it every evening and overnight again. Plus for cooking and used both stovetop and oven almost every day. Return trip was still very cold, so same evening/overnight again. And we were getting the temp up to around 70. The last night, DH went out and manually swapped the tanks, just to be sure he didn't find out at 3:00AM that we had a problem. Got home and found that we still had enough propane in the 1 20# tank to have made it through that last night. So over about 15 or so days, using evenings/overnight/cooking/heating/in transit, we were good with just the one tank. Agree that since you'll have shore power, a small electric/ceramic heater would be a big help and you'd likely have the furnace kick on much less frequently. You should be fine and if you end up using propane, I'd be surprised if you used more than 1 tank. Have fun and stay warm.
