How much wind is dangerous?
All these storms moving through here got me thinking. What wind speed makes you pull over and wait it out?

That's my general rule of thumb.
Won't take the RV or the motorcycle out if the sustained winds are 40 MPH or over.....partly because the gusts usually are MUCH higher.
Then....when on the road, if I get the feeling more than once that a big truck is about to blow past me......but none is really there.....then it's time to stop.
