we go up and down the columbia river gorge quite often. It's known for wind year round. IMHO how much wind is to much is really dependent on the TV, trailer, hitch setup, and your experience. gusts near 30mph aren't an issue for me. by 40mph gusts that go from almost nothing to 40mph start to push me around, not enough to be serious, but enough that we notice it and it starts to get tiring. much above that and I'd start thinking about postponing. A direct headwind, reasonably constant, also common in the gorge, isn't near as much an issue, But again much above 40-45, we look for options.
Other setups could be easier in these conditions, or downright dangerous, again depending on your overall setup and experience.
