How often do you change your Front/Rear Differential Fluid?

My manual doesn't mention changing the fluid unless you frequently use the truck near its rated tow capacity then you may want to change it to synthetic even if it is new. Since I tow near capacity fairly often I am thinking getting a finned aluminum cover with a drain plug and doing the switch. Doing it after taking the truck swimming is probably a good idea too.
