The lake is up stream from the decommissioned nuke. The fishing is good, it has a nice 10 mile hiking trail, good birding. The campground is clean and relatively quiet. It makes a good secure base to drop the TC and go fish the day use areas of some of the local rivers. In winter you will o.ly find one or two other campers in the park.
