OK, how to get what you want that isn't readily available locally:
If you have a model in mind already, use the respective brand's corporate website to locate close dealer. Then go there and find a competent salesperson. Or go elsewhere, out of state, wherever you are willing to travel to purchase.
Since you are on the west coast, RVs tend to cost a little more. There are not as many manufacturing plants nearby. But I would get a quote from some of the dealer in the US that tend to offer nearly the best pricing and compare the travel time/costs vs. ordering locally.
