I had a mouse die in the heater / defroster vents in my car. Some friends told me I was doomed. I did some internet research and tried many different products and after a couple of months the smell was completely gone. Wish I could tell you which one worked but, I did so many I'm not sure which one was the best. It will take some work and some time but, you can get the smell out.
