There are a lot of tips posted about where to jack, or tricks to change a single tire. I'm wondering what do people do if they need a full set (for a double axle TT)? Take it to a tire shop and hope they know how to jack it properly or instruct them how?Roll up the front 2 on ramps, bring rear 2 to tire store. Repeat in reverse.Jack the whole trailer up on leveling jacks and take all 4 to the shop?Something else?I'm leaning towards the second option, although I'm a little leery about unhitching while it's up on a ramp on 2 wheels... but should be safe enough with leveling jacks and lots of chocks.

I cheat a little bit. I have a tire machine and balancer at my house so I can easily do it 2 at a time without making any trips. I don't know campers that well, but I would assume they cannot be that hard to set up on jack stands...

I would take it to the tire shop. If they jack it up wrong, and break it, then they can pay to have it repaired properly.Fred.

And I have them show me the tire pressures in each tire before I drive away.....after I have watched them jack/remove/reinstall tire/wheels and torqued lug nuts

I jack it up put it on jack stands and all 4 tires got in one trip. I have an incentive to do it in one trip, it's 50 miles to town.

I just had all 6 on my Class-C replaced at my local tire shop (Les Schwabb). They had it done in an hour with a guarantee and no sweat off my back.

I prefer/enjoy performing many of the maintenance tasks on my RV. Changing tires is NOT one of them.

I took my fiver to the tire shop and told them I would jack it while they changed each tire. This worked fine and they preferred I did it.

I'm spoiled I guess. I use my Bigfoot levelers to lift the entire coach off the ground and remove all of them at one time. I suppose if I didn't have this I would take it to the shop and let them do it, but stay and watch.

I put the whole TT on jack stands and took all 4 tires in at once.

I jacked up one wheel and took that one and the spare to the tire shop. Two trips, 4 tires.

This way I know it's done right and the lugs torqued the way I want them too.

That is how I did it also. You do want to be careful with your jack under the axle so you don't bend or kink the axle. Sometimes just doing one at a time will be the safest and have the least chance damaging anything.
