How to ship TT?

Honestly.. I wouldn't buy a RV unless I could drive there and haul it back myself...

Good chance you are going to have a very hard time finding a hauler which will be remotely willing to accept responsibility to haul it let alone as cheap as you are wanting to pay for hauling it.

Quality and CARING "drivers" do not come cheap...

If you find under $1.50 a mile, I would run as fast as I can and get away. Figure out how much gas or diesel is, that's going to be 50 cent a mile, and then the cost of the truck and driver. I wouldn't do it for that, two days on the road, hotel, eating. That is not counting where the driver is starting from. Driving is not cheap.....

If you haven't the time, you have no choice. But all the prices we saw were way over $1 per mile too, and that was just too much, so I took the time and drove out west to pick it up. Advantage was that I got the walk through and could inspect the trailer to be sure everything was ok before signing.

Did this with our first trailer too, but there we made a nice trip out of it. Last time it was just drive, drive, drive. Too hectic.

Thanks for all the advice. I did a good search for RV movers and found Uship. I put my info in and I will see what I get. I don't have the time for the trip. It is about 1350 miles each way.

I haven't been able to find a back haul yet. Most of the back hauls head into Indiana not up here to the north east. But I will keep looking.

So far the best price I have gotten is $1.50/mi. I will keep looking to see if I can find anything better. If not, I will just have to bite the bullet and pay that rate.

MA <-> GA.? I'd do it myself. What is it 1500mi r/t? There are people here in the West that drive that far to the 7/11.

I would check with a RV shipping company for a back haul. It might save you some money.

So you are not heading to Georgia for the walk through to be sure all is OK and towing it back. If you are going through a dealer, ask them if they know anyone, might be and easy fix.
