We keep 4 bag chairs in our pass through/ under the front bed, inside the bags. We also have a fair amount in the front pass through: Ez-Up 10x10, Coleman RoadTrip, Camp Chef Explorer 2 burner stove, 2- Aluminum roll top tables, tub (w/ 30 amp ext cord, couple fresh water hoses, couple 20amp ext cords, etc), 2-9x12 awning mats, X-Chocks, don't think I have missed anything.
While in use we either slide the shoulder strap over the chair back, or somehow hang it on the chair or frame.
While not super easy to store the chair inside the bag, as mentioned, a little patience and it will go in without to much effort. I usually put the chair feet first inside the bag.
Unless you have 8 family members who usually camp, I would also suggest to cut back on the number of chairs you carry. Maybe take one extra in case of a broken chair.
