I have a love hate relationship with the bag chairs. I enjoy how portable they are... but I always end up buying those cheap Walmart/Academy bag chairs. I've never been able to swallow paying 40-50 bucks for the more expensive bag chairs. They all seem to tear up after a few hard years of use.
We don't just use them for camping, we use them for drive in theater, church events, sporting events, sitting around the firepit at home...etc
Seen friends with the more expensive bag chairs and they seem to tear up just as frequently.
We bought some of those zero gravity chairs about 4 years ago. Those chairs have held up really well..they just take up a lot of room and are harder to secure.
Trying to convince myself to buy a few Kermit chairs for the DW and myself but they are very expensive (but the best from what I understand)and they do not have arm rests that event he simple bag chairs do.
As for storing them. I usually put them in the TV. They did fit directly under the swing down galley in our PUP so that was nice.
I've tried the directors chairs but they are NOT comfortable for me or my wife. They are too stiff in the bum and the backs are to straight up and down. I need a little lounge to my chair :)
Thanks!
Jeremiah
