How to test camper is charging batteries on shore power

Probably answered a million times but had 185 RB 2012 Jayco out in the spring and everything OK. Would use small genset to charge when back in from fishing in afternoon. Brought home, went to get so...

I think it is the red wire out the back of the converter that goes to the battery. Check there before ruling out the converter.
