Completely disagree. Forest River has the ROO/Shamrock/Solaire/Palomino lines, all have models available with slides. The 23SS has 2 bunkends, huge slide, awesome kitchen and was the #1 seller until the 233S came along with 3 bunkends. Also the new model 23IKSS with opposing slides. ROO is available through RVWholesalers and strongly suggest you spend some time on their website.
Jayco has a very complete line. Other manufacturers have hybrids also....take a road trip and note the different models or spend some online time. RVW has the ROO, complete with floorplans and pictures. RVDirect carries the Jayco and has information on their floorplans. A good place to start looking at the hybrids with slides that are out there and there are plenty.
Although there are plenty of HTTs in the Midwest and south, you'll find a huge number in the NE and also north of the border. The west coast, for whatever reason, seems to make it a lot harder to find than other areas. With the great weather in the west, you'd think they's be on every corner.
TT are certainly more prevalent, but there will always be a market for HTT as there is for PUPs. You just haven't looked in the right places.
