I am DONE working on this trailer!

The only thing I really planned to do this year was replace a leaky skylight over the shower that I discovered when winterizing last year. Put a piece of Eternabond on the crack and waited for spring to come. Well, spring came with a vengeance....

So far this year:

1. Replaced the entire slideout floor and repaired water leaks
2. Converted table and chairs to U-shaped dinette
3. Installed new floor in entire TT with shoe moulding around all the cabinets.
4. Replaced both skylights
5. New LT225/75-16E tires
6. Reinforced pantry shelves so they don't sag with that big box of cornflakes.
7. Added bluetooth receiver to the stereo.
8. Waxed the outside (note to self, never let this go more than 1 season...)
9. Re-packed the wheel bearings.
10. Adjusted the brakes.
11. New mattress for the queen bed.
12. Insulated under the bed for cold weather camping.
13. DW re-upholstered headboard in bedroom.
14. resealed a bunch of seams and misc stuff.

Good thing I got new 6v batteries last year, or that would have been on the list too...

Man, I am SOOOO ready to get some camping done!! Hoping nothing else breaks until at least next year....

  • Nice list you knocked out there!!! How long did it take? Have any photo's?
  • Just imagine what it would have cost and how long it would have taken to have an RV service department do the work. Now you have the satisfaction of knowing it was done to your expectations and you saved a ton of money. Get out and enjoy!
