When I want to mess with the scammers:
1. I tell them I come from a big family that scattered throughout the world. There is no reason to send or ship anything because I most likely have people close enough to meet in person. When the person mentions some obscure location, I tell them that's perfect - I'm just about to head there on another business trip and will throw out a local location I found on the Internet where we can meet.
2. I explain to them I trace international cybercrime and I appreciate the trail they left behind. They have a choice of remaining at the computer until authorities arrive or be charged with evasion and obstruction of justice in addition to international wire fraud. I have already captured their physical picture and all locations where their account was used. Today is not their lucky day.
3. I have been scammed before, but they targeted the wrong person. My "family" now has a contract on you and all know relatives and acquaintances. The bounty is set high enough you will not be able to trust family or friends and there is a bonus if you are forced to watch the demise of the people you love. It's a matter of honor - You understand?
