Oh, man - that sucks! Does your title match your truck (VIN number)?
I would contact the Williamson County SO by phone to see if your truck was one of the ones that was sold with a false/forged title. Maybe you got lucky and yours wasn't a shady deal. If so, go camping with a clear conscience.
If your deal was one in which the owner was defrauded, there's a paper trail to you/your truck and you'll probably eventually hear from your SO.
