Are you kidding?....Sorry for being so blunt, but you come here to get advice about this very serious matter. Really?
Call the police, call the dept. of licensing....Take in your title and registration if you even have one....get it straightened out the CORRECT way.
I was thinking the same thing, asking about legal help or issues on a RV forum.
You say this in jest, but before I get done typing this response, someone will surely come onto this forum and ask a dumber question. And before the end of the night, it will have 3 pages of confusing answers.
I don't think this is a complicated matter at all. The OP has paperwork that says everything is legal on his end. There's no "wrong response" here on his his part. He can sell it, trade it, drive it, call the police about it, etc. The problem here lies between the consigner and the consignee. When you consign an item, you're entering into a legal agreement with consigner...presumably. The owner of the item has no relationship with the end purchaser. Since none of us are privy to the agreement between the parties, and since we're only talking about "accusations" at this point, I'd be hesitant to make a knee jerk reaction based on a short news report. If the OP is indeed legal, the police will find him if necessary...and it won't be in a bad way.
