Man - that's a rough position to be in.
It would be tempting to just rid of it - trade it off and be done with the headache.
But would you have any obligation to disclose that it may or may not be part of a police matter and/or title dispute? Would a dealership run from it? (I'd sure not wanna be the next person who owns it.)
When you had the attorney on the phone, did you ask him about that?
