I was a little concerned about the mileage at 54K on a 2012 truck. During my research I did notice that the miles were a little on the high side, there was nothing out of line with those miles.

Keep good notes on your fuel filters and when they were changed, check the DEF tank level every now and then and when you see it under half full top it off.
The hardest thing I came across going to a diesel was that silly smile I got when I towed with it, usually took several days to go away :)
I wouldn't worry about those miles, I just turned over 120,000 on my 2011.
