Good to Go! For half ton towing I usually recommend trying to stay under 6K GVWR and under 25 feet or so total length so your good.
BTW, it's not that backing the larger trailer is easier, it is to some degree if you have the room to swing it. The issue with larger/longer trailers and half ton towing is tail wagging the dog. the 30 feet plus trailers are like having a large sail behind you.
Again, at that weight (good on you for going by GVWR) and length, with a property set up WDH, should be a very enjoyable tow. My prior 15 Silverado 1500 towed the trailer in my sig very well, similar length and weight to what your considering and I had less payload than your Ford. I had 1704 lbs, my rig is 6k GVWR.
