Tires were mentioned one time here so this makes #2. If you have P rated tires you will likely feel some wiggle in the rear end, not sway but just a little bit of wiggle. Its the tires side walls that are not stiff enough for towing so you do need to upgrade those to LT D or E rated. If you have LT tires on it then you will certainly be happy with that combination. I pull a 30 ft. 6800lb. trailer with a Silverado 1500 just fine. Happy travels.
