Its the tires side walls that are not stiff enough for towing so you do need to upgrade those to LT D or E rated. If you have LT tires on it then you will certainly be happy with that combination. Thanks for that tire recommendation. It was mentioned further up the post and that's some good advice. I just brought the truck home this morning and I'll go out and have a look at the tires - Good Year Wranglers, and YMMV but I've had several experiences with them and they are my most despised tires. Right now though it's 18 degrees and the wind is howling. I'll wait a bit.
