Well put. Could not agree more, only problem for me is that so far I am forced to camp next to people as I don't have either generator or solar (the latter being my preference, but am working on it). After a while the generator becomes white noise - same can;t be said about the people who don't have any respect for the rules and for other campers when it comes to quiet tiime. :M
That said I will likely get solar before I get a generator though, since it is more "green" and "cost effective" as long as the AC is not needed. In these parts it means that summer time means electric hookups.
