I got a new Generator

Sorry, it is not red or blue. It is a Champion 75531i, 3100 max watts, 2800 rated watts. Weighs about 85 pounds and is rated at 58db. I can pick it up and set it in the pickup by myself, it started the first pull, and it runs my AC unit.

In addition to a pair of 2000W Hondas or Yamahas, I considered the Yamaha 2400, but its ability to start the AC seems to be a gamble. $826 is more to my liking than $2200.

    I just purchased the same make/model.

    Started on first pull.

    It is as quiet as the Honda 3000. Wife and I were shocked. We could stand next to it and have a normal conversation even after the unit was under load.

    To test the unit, we turned on the 5'ver 13K watt a/c. Champion didn't miss a beat.

    Have used it during boondocking recently. Only had it 2 weeks.

    Get the "Lazy Man's Oil" change kit as an after market. No mess and you can see color of oil and amount in the tube.

    How does it sound when you have a load on it? That's sure a lot less weight than my Honda 3000.
