I do not have the pass-thru, but I believe that to install a crawl boot that you may have to remove the rear window of the cab. This may pose problems if you intend to use the truck as a daily driver.

OK. I'll buy that- a feature that you want and feel is necessary is a very valid reason (I deal with clients in the same way and accommodate them as best possible.)
May I suggest that the pick-up you get be a regular cab and not crew or extended cab. If you are in a situation needing to move quickly, then it might be best to "drop" into the drivers seat directly from the TC and not have to leap frog from the back seats.
