TCs don't have pass-throughs to truck unless you are climbing through the rear window (many are too small to do it).
I'm pretty physically fit, not at all big and can snake into just about any little spot. ha ha
The other option was for a semi-permanent mount and involved removing the entire rear window of the truck and the camper's pass-through window and installing a boot between them. Not something that you are going to be able to simply drop the camper and go with, unless you don't mind the breeze and lack of security.
The ability to move from truck to TC is something that has been removed from the current TC market since most States now outlaw someone riding in the TC so there is no need.
Just put "truck camper pass through" into Google and many images pop up.
This is a must have for me, so I'll be making one for sure.
Again as you should have been able to tell from my posts, I am well aware of what you are describing. And I am telling you in today's TC world it isn't something that normally works unless you are willing to remove the entire rear window or are the size of a small child.
The back windows on modern trucks are held in by a rubber gasket that you aren't just going to quickly or easily pop back in every time you drop the TC (it is a two person job) and very few, if any, TCs have a front window big enough to crawl through unless you are again the size of a small child.
