Not sure where you're looking but quick CL search around seattle, there's a bunch of nice 1 ton trucks, srw and duallys for $5-10k. And a bunch of decent looking truck campers as well, even a couple with slide outs for about $10k.
I could pair a cherry 3500 cc lb 4x4 454, 5 speed with only 100k mi with a newer palomino slides out camper for example and asking price total is $10k and $10k.
Not sure how gq you are full timing around and still able to drag down some split tail on a regular basis, but yeah I'd be creeped out if it was a chick and a random dude showed up in a shaggin wagon!
