Back to OP's pass thru, I've always had, or famliy member had a p/u available to drive. All but one, (a S10 "mini p/u) have had rear slider. My '04 S&S also has slider. Lines up pretty well. I am a big guy....so really wouldn't want to do it, but if you left the windows unlocked, while TC is in the truch, seems like you could accomplish the goal.
I've had the time when I wish I could have done what op describes. My issue was I usually put at least on set of jacks down for stability. Would have been an issue to drive away with jacks down,

My case was boondocking....and bunch if drinking teens and older decided they needed to party right next to us. I decided was better to quietly get up, prep side away from them, get wife in cab, the do side toward them and leave. No point trying to confront bunch of drunks or worse in middle of night. It was a PITA. But ended up in better place for having moved!
