To the OP, you're talking about a 13-14klb 5ver.
You NEED a diesel in this case unless you are not traveling much, of far, or at hi alt.
If it's weekends to the local campground then a 2500 min, 3500 preferred srw gasser will work fine. May have To add airbags or timbrens or leafs to the back.
If it's X country towing, get any other diesel except a 6.0 Ford. 1994-newer Dodge Cummins with manual trans unless 08 or newer.
2001 or newer Dmax.
1999- newer Powerstroke except the 6.0.
