This is what I would do. OK, it is exactly what I did do and I love my 2006 Duramax! I love not having to worry about the extra emissions stuff and DEF fluid! One of these trucks would make a sound reliable tow vehicle for a decent price. This might allow you to dedicate the vehicle to towing in which case I would seriously consider a DRW (Dually)!
