Aisin makes more than one transmission.
I was thinking the same thing, since Aisin makes a huge variety of transmissions. Virtually every Toyota with an automatic has one including the Tundra. I would think it more likely that Nissan would use a version of that transmission rather than the Ram version which is similar to that used in medium duty Japanese trucks.
