Those of you who brought up overkill in a 1/2 ton make a good point. I also agree that the bigger baby Cummins would hurt the payload of a truck that can't really afford that loss. I would say that these 400 hp motors pushing 900 ftlbs of twist is overkill in my book and I would love to see a motor like this as a HD option, close to perfect for my needs.
