I need help and suggestions for vinyl flooring.

What type of insulation can I use for underneath vinyl sheet with a wood surface?. I am looking for an insulation for the heat protection. Please let me know your best suggestions... Thank you, ...

The insulation install should be done from underneath the TT. Anything you do from inside the TT will be of very minimal thickness and about useless. To put anything with any useful thickness in from up top would be nearly Impossible.
